POLICY & STRATEGY

As new communities settle in the UK and assert their

identity, beliefs and practices, they experience new

challenges, contest established norms and raise new

issues for consideration. These new experiences,

challenges and issues may engage many Government

departments, agencies and others. FaithWise has

extensive contacts in 12 faith and belief communities

on which it can draw to understand emerging issues

and contentions, develop working solutions

acceptable to all relevant parties, and assist in the

development of longer term strategies where the

issues are of a greater magnitude and complexity.

Past experience in this area includes working on

issues around cultural practices, citizenship, security,

equality and cohesion.
